EMPLOYEE-- JOB SATISFACTION

FINANCIAL CRISIS-- CYPRUS

Abstract JOB SATISFACTION PAYS MUCH ATTRACTION SO WE SHOULD TAKE A DIRECT ACTION. PREVIOUS WORK ON JOB SATISFACTION REVEALED THAT ITS CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK COULD BE INTERRELATED WITH OTHER PARAMETRICAL ASPECTS SUCH AS MOTIVATION, WORK PERFORMANCE, ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT AND INTENTIONAL TURNOVER. UNDER THE SPHERE OF JOB SATISFACTION AS A 'CONCEPT', EMPHASIS IS INITIALLY GIVEN ON THE EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION OF THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS THAT CULTIVATE EITHER AN EFFECTIVE SATISFACTION TO EMPLOYEES, BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENTIAL, PERCEPTIONS OR BELIEVES OR A COGNITIVE SATISFACTION ATTRACTED FROM THE FULFILLMENT OF INTRINSIC AND EXTRINSIC VALUABLES. IN CONTINUATION, AS JOB SATISFACTION IS ALSO INFLUENCED BY JOB EXPECTATIONS, FURTHER ANALYSIS IS PERFORMED ON THE ASPECTS WHICH EMPLOYEES SEEK FOR OR EXPECT FROM A JOB'S CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS JOB SECURITY, FINANCIAL REWARDS, BENEFITS, PRESTIGE, RECOGNITION, AUTONOMY AND MORE. IT IS THOUGH TAKEN FOR GRANTED THAT SOME PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE HIGHER EXPECTATIONS FROM THEIR WORK THAN OTHERS.
