- THE LOOK AT HOW FIRMS INTERPRET THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND THEIR ROLE WITHIN IT, SINCE THIS WILL AFFECT BOTH HOW THEY DEAL WITH CHANGES IN THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AND HOW THEY GO ABOUT MANAGING IT TO ACHIEVE THEIR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.
